Burns Park

There are many state parks in Arkansas, but Burns Park is one of the most beautiful parks that makes a visit to go. Burns Park is nestled in North Little Rock, on the north side of I-40. It is probably the most popular park in central Arkansas and one of the largest municipal parks in the United States. You will find a playground, two golf courses (discs and miniatures), water slides, amusement parks, softball fields, tennis and squash courts, and even a camping area.

Covering the area of about 6,000 acres on the land of North Little Rock, the USA government purchased the land between 1900 and 1915. At that time, it was used as a training camp to train the soldiers. At present, whenever you will visit here, you can found the foxholes on the areas of the park. In 1950, the park was remodeled to a Burns park. There is water ski lake, 22 tennis courts, picnic areas, playgrounds, 5 softball complexes, 3 outdoor basketball courts, pavilions, World War II Tank and number of other things which you can enjoy. Hence, there is a number of things that you can discover in this famous Burns Park.

Of all things to do in Little Rock, this is a great place to spend time with the family when not repairing doors.
