While the building’s main attraction is its library and historical archive, it is also known for its art galleries that display some of the best works of local artists. One of their art galleries is the retail center, which features some artworks that are available for sale.

The Butler Center has 4 art galleries, located at the Arkansas Studies Institute building at the Main Library campus. The Main Library is located at the River Market District, making it accessible for both locals and visitors who are at the heart of the city.
