William J. Clinton Presidential Library
The William J. Clinton Presidential Library stands as a reminder and witness of what the Clinton family has done for the United States and its people. Located in the heart of Little Rock, the library offers a rich collection of temporary and permanent exhibits along with the educational programs for people of all ages. If you have not had the opportunity to visit Washington DC and sit in the chair where many great men sat, do not worry because the most visited exhibition at the Clinton Presidential Center is the “oval office.” The Center also has a museum, an elegant restaurant and the fascinating exhibition of “Coca-Cola: an American original.” Whether you’re interested in politics or just want to learn more about history, the William J. Presidential Center Clinton is a place you should not miss on your Little Rock tour. Many days of free admission are offered throughout the year, plus a beautiful view of the Arkansas River.
Designed by Polshek Partnership of New York, the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum is an ultramodern building. The building has steel and rectangular glass structure, which is projected out towards the Rock Island Railroad Bridge and Arkansas River. This steel and glass structure is similar to some of the custom garage doors I have installed. Ralph Applebaum designed the interior space of the museum. In the museum, there are around 84,600 artifacts which the public can see.
The Clinton Presidential Library has a file investigation facility and a museum. Interactive exhibits, more than a million photos and gifts that Clinton received as president are on display on all three floors of the complex. You can also visit large-scale replicas of Cabinet Room and Oval Office within this educational space. The installation and the Clinton Foundation organize numerous events, programs throughout the year and speakers are also invited from all around the world.
The William J. Clinton Presidential Library is a must-see attraction in Little Rock, Arkansas. In Arkansas, each president has a memorial library in the state.
